Integrating with Adjust - User Acquisition

Learn how to activate the Jampp module with Adjust, forward events, and create tracker URLs in this step-by-step guide.

Our integration with Adjust allows you to track campaign's performance, ad spend so you can attribute your in-app activity and understand the sources it's coming from and ROAS. At the same time, provides both Jampp and Adjust with critical data to successfully Attribute events, Automate Optimization, Drive insights, Build reports, Build Audiences, and Measure Lift.

Integrating with Adjust is fast and easy, and doesn’t require any code. Here’s how to get started:

1. Adding Jampp to your Adjust App

Login to your Adjust account and go to Apps in the left navigation tab

Choose your App, click on the bottom arrow to access the configuration menu, and go to Partner Setup.

Click Add Partner, search for Jampp. Next, click the "+" sign.

2. Enabling Module and in-app events forwarding

First, you have to enable the full Jampp module. To do so, you must toggle Enabled and all Forwarding switches on, also link all available custom in-app events in Event Linking by clicking Fill all with event names, as shown below.

Keep in mind: In-App Revenue Forwarding can only be enabled after Event Linking.

If your Adjust App contains both Android and iOS, remember to select the following OS icon and repeat step 2 to configure both.

Hit Save to confirm all changes.

3. Creating New Tracker URLs

Now we need to enable attribution by adding New Trackers. To do so clic on Tracker URLs from your App's configuration menu.

  • Click New Tracker

  • Choose a Tracker Name

  • Select Jampp under Network

  • Click Customize

Before completing the tracker creation, you will have to configure some Attribution Settings for optimal campaign results with Jampp:

Next you must modify Click & Impression Based attribution settings as shown below:

Click Based - Fingerprinting

  • Custom settings ON 

  • Device fingeprinting for clicks ON

Impression Based - Device matching

  • Custom settings ON

  • Device matching for impression ON

Impression Based - Fingerprinting

  • Custom settings ON

  • Device fingeprinting for impressions ON

Last, click Back and Create. This will display the click and impression trackers that must be used on the new Jampp campaign.

Send both trackers to your Account Manager at Jampp to complete this step.

Note: To configure multiple campaigns, repeat step 3 to create all trackers. Remember go to Integrating with Adjust - Retargeting if necessary.

4. Granting Partner Access.

Adjust's Partner Access, gives Jampp access to basic app and campaign data resulting in faster troubleshooting when necessary.

To grant Jampp with partner access, simply go to My Account in the left navigation tab, click on the Users tab and hit Add User.

This will open the Create User menu where you must configure Jampp's access as shown below:

  • Role: Custom

  • Feature Access - Cost Data ON

  • Feature Access - In-App Revenue Data ON

Next, click on App Access.

Click on an app and select the corresponding Jampp trackers (as created on the previous step). Turn Toggle Selected to ON, hit Apply and then click Create.
